Valentin Thurn
Author and filmmaker "Taste the Waste"
Thurn is a filmmaker and author of more than 40 TV documentaries and exposés on social, development, environmental and education issues. He has received a series of prizes and awards for his films, e.g. being nominated for the German Television Award in 2006. His latest work, the feature-length documentary film “Taste The Waste”, had its premiere screening at the 2011 Berlinale, the international film festival in Berlin, and has received critical acclaim and numerous awards.
Dr. Sibyl Anwander
Head of Sustainability/ Economic Policy at Coop
Anwander studied agronomy at ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich), completing a doctorate in agricultural economics. After over ten years of research and teaching at ETH Zurich she was hired in at COOP in 2001, first heading Public Affairs, followed three years later by assuming Sustainability. It was under her purview that COOP’s first sustainability report was drafted, from which the Energy and Climate Vision arose, according to which COO P seeks to be CO2-neutral in the areas under its direct control by 2023. Anwander represents COOP on various national and international expert committees: among other things, she heads the Steering Committee of the Business Social Compliance Initiative, whose membership numbers over 800 companies throughout the world.
Guillaume Moissonnier
CEO of Cellpack Packaging, BBC Group
Moissonnier, with a chemical engineering and MBA background, has been CEO of Cellpack Packaging since 2009, a company specialising in the development and converting of flexible packaging, in very close collaboration with customers and suppliers. Career highlights: 1994-2006: Development Manager of Compagnie Franco-Suisse (CFS), Baumgartner Papiers Group 2006-2008: General Manager of Compagnie Franco-Suisse (CFS), Baumgartner Papiers Group 2008-2009: General Manager of CFS Cellpack Packaging, BBC Group.
Dr. Mirjam Staub-Bisang
Founding partner Independant Capital Management, book author
Staub-Bisang is CEO of the board of directors of Independent Capital Management AG, a consulting firm for securities and real estate investments located in Zurich. She is an attorney with a Doctor of Laws degree, and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. She is a lecturer for sustainable investments and a book author. She sits on the board of directors of various companies and is involved in a number of not-for-profit and charitable organisations. Staub-Bisang has been designated a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum (WEF).
Sina Trinkwalder
Founder of Manomama, Social Entrepreneur of Sustainability (2011)
Trinkwalder studied Political Science and Business Administration at the University of Munich. After discontinuing her studies she worked for over ten years as the managing director of an advertising agency. In 2010 she founded the first social garment business in Germany: Manomama. In this garment manufacturing operation, previously unemployed sewers within a regional value chain produce eco-socially sustainable clothing and accessories. Trinkwalder has received numerous awards for her ecological commitment and social engagement. She was designated Social Entrepreneur of Sustainability 2011.

Philippe Roulet
Head of Global Packaging Materials & Training at Nestlé
A chemical engineer by graduate, Roulet started his career as a Food Scientist in the Nestlé Research Centre in Lausanne, Switzerland. After 10 years, he moved to the very exciting area of packaging. In 2007 Roulet spent a year in Nestlé’s US headquarters leading the implementation of the new Nestlé Packaging Safety Strategy. In 2008 he moved back to the corporate packaging department in Nestlé’s global headquarters in Switzerland as Head of Global Packaging Materials & Training. In this function, Roulet is tasked with following up on packaging innovations in all packaging categories in order to evaluate and identify any interest for potential applications within the complex Nestlé product portfolio. As to packaging & sustainability, he is involved in the elaboration of the Nestlé Strategy and is responsible for ensuring its implementation.
